This is actually a brand new map, not an update. We have re-drawn Uganda as a double-sided map (north half/south half), which really makes an enormous difference in opening up the map. Place names are much more readable and the information is easier to follow. This is also the first map published to note the newly-emerging country of South Sudan. With my luck, they’ll probably opt to call it something completely different, but at least it is noted on our map as what it is called today. We have also added a detailed inset map of Kampala. The lovely cover picture of elephants by the Nile near Murchison Falls was taken by myself (he says modestly) on my last visit to Uganda.
