This is a basic map of the USA, with each State shown in differing colours and Alaska and Hawaii shown as insets. As with the other maps ITMB has released in this series (World, Canada, and Europe) this is a good quality but basic map showing the different States and their capitals (and sometimes adding a few major cities) on sheet 1 with sheet 2 continuing the outlines of each State and its capital without the names being shown. The purpose is to use sheet 1 as a viewing copy to show to the student, who then has to locate the same place on sheet 2. The market is schools, to test knowledge and improve basic geographic awareness, home schooling as a fun way to involve the whole family in learning more about the USA, and believe it or not for adding the map to reports that have to be prepared for developing marketing strategies (in other words, a business application). These maps are inexpensive to buy, prepared on heavy duty paper for durability, and sell quite well.
