1. Canada Atlantic Travel Reference Map-2026edi

The four Canadian provinces that constitute Atlantic Canada are New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. All four are traditional historic entities, with Newfoundland being the oldest British overseas area in the world, having been founded in 1534. New Brunswick was founded by the French as Acadia. The English deported many settlers to Louisiana Territory, where descendants to this day are proud to call themselves Cajuns. Nova Scotia started as a British naval fortress in Halifax (1749) and PEI is where Canada came together as a country in 1864. History is everywhere, making the region one of the most popular destinations in North America. Side 1 shows New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, with its adjacent Cape Breton Island, and PEI, while side 2 shows Newfoundland, an island, and Labrador, on the mainland, with a detailed inset map of Saint John’s, the provincial capital and a thriving fishing port.
