Bangkok is one of the most-visited cities in Asia, and a wonderful place to see, loaded with palaces and temple complexes. It is also easy to travel around, thanks to its elevated transit system, which is currently undergoing a massive upgrade of new lines. Side 1 covers the city from Thonburi to the Queen Sirikit Convention Centre and from Line 2 north to Victory Monument, showing dozens of hotels, all the temples and Wats, the transit lines, shopping areas, schools, and embassies. Side 2 covers all of the southern peninsula of Thailand to the Malaysian border with a detailed inset map of the resort area of Pattaya. To assist end users, we have added the region surrounding Bangkok, showing the new international airport southeast of the city. The old airport still exists, but not for international flights.
